Meet Gabriela
The person behind CloseKind
Hi, I’m Gabriela Pagan, founder of CloseKind.
I’ve spent more than eight years working in accounting, with hands-on experience across accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, cash application, account reconciliations, collections, discrepancy resolution, and month-end reporting.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked behind the numbers—researching discrepancies, reconciling accounts, processing payments, resolving billing issues, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping make sure the information businesses rely on is organized and accurate.
But I’ve also learned something important along the way:
Numbers are only helpful when you can actually understand them.
That’s one of the reasons I created CloseKind.
Why I created CloseKind
I know bookkeeping can become overwhelming, especially when you’re busy actually running your business.
A few transactions get missed. Then a month goes by. Personal and business expenses get mixed together. Reports stop making sense. Before you know it, opening your books feels like one more thing you’d rather avoid.
I wanted to create a different kind of bookkeeping experience.
CloseKind is a place where business owners can say, “My books are a mess and I don’t know where to start,” without feeling embarrassed or judged.
My job isn’t simply to organize the numbers. I want to help you understand what’s happening with your business money so you can move forward feeling clearer and more in control.

I also hold an Associate Degree from Union County College in New Jersey.
I bring that professional accounting experience to CloseKind, built around the same principles that have guided my career: accuracy, organization, communication, and attention to detail.
